I happened to spot this while I was looking at your bread recipes. We love lemon cake, and just yesterday my eldest asked if we could make lemon cupcakes for her upcoming team party to celebrate the end of her basketball season. That to say – we’d love to try your recipe for that! Any reason this wouldn’t work out fine as cupcakes, or any special considerations for that?

Hello Michele, thanks for this awesome lemon cake recipe!! I made it & we ate it all but never took a picture sorry. It was delicious!! Next time I make I will snap a photo-promise.

I made this today wth Meyer lemons. It was perfect, moist with just the right sweetness. Rated five stars by me and, better yet, 95-year old Papa Jack.
