My first try at strawberry fruit leather in parchment stuck to the paper and I could not pull it off in a sheet. Lots of tearing and paper bits remained stuck. Should I have oiled the paper?

I am really looking forward to making the chocolate banana leather; and I love the suggestion of the garden tomato as I have a bumper crop of tomatoes! This gives me a great use of tomatoes!

I’m delighted to have found this website (via youtube). So much covered- so practical- I don’t need to buy extra fruit leather trays!! I’d like further info on fruit with seeds, please. Things like raspberries and passionfruit- can you make leather with the seeds still whole? Another question- if you dehydrate fruit, or make the fruit leather and store it in a fridge- what kind of shelf life does it have once you remove it from the fridge? And- can stevia be used as a sweetener? I love the suggestion of combining in cocoa- thanks for all your tips and hints and ideas!!

I have got to try the pumpkin puree fruit leather! I’ve made fruit leather, many years ago, but the ingredients to these various fruits is just wonderful! All the steps Michele included in the video are perfect. She really motivates me to make stuff because she makes it all look so simple & fun to make.
